General Checkup
I underwent general checkup this morning, for Accenture's pre-employment requirement, I'll be deployed there to take my colleague's place who's about to leave the company (DB Wizards) soon. I was thinking while filling out the forms, that before, I'm confident to write down (or rather check) illnesses I never had before, like asthma, tuberculosis, allergies, etc. Now that I'm getting older, which of course everyone does, I'm having this recurring allergy (mild skin problem though, eczema per se).
Some questions that came to my mind, what about those people with heart problem? With lung problem? People who are crippled or have certain disabilities? Aren't they worthy to have those kinds of job that a normal person possess? There are some people who really are fortunate enough to have the best of both worlds, good job and good health.
Soon I'm getting older and older, and starting to get worried of things might or might not happen, filling out those forms for annual checkup.. having all sorts of illnesses all at the same time.. it's really sad, or frightening should I say, to think about those stuff. So while still young, it's best living out your life, and investing more time on God than on worldly things, I'm sure it's really worth investing than anything of this world.
