Pleasing Everybody (Requires You to Kill “Somebody”)
Posted last June 5th, 2009 on Friendster blog
I conducted a training this week
in the office, of course, after the training, they will submit an evaluation of my teaching. Well, the training ran smoothly, as expected, haha! Kidding.
Seriously now, I never thought
coming from ONE student, after
hell-bent of preparing for the training and completing the students’ manual,
after carefully assisting that ONE
person during their laboratory exercises would fail me in the evaluation?! How
ungrateful! By the way, the class was composed of 12 students, most of them gave
a perfect evaluation OR more than the average score that I expected.
Sigh, this just proves that it’s
hard to please everybody, well, maybe due to his old age (mid 40s or 50s).
There’s a saying in Tagalog “mahirap
turuan ang matatanda“, in English, it’s hard to teach
old dogs new tricks.. I guess old people are more resistant to change or just plainly
having a hard time catching up? Maybe during his time, he experienced a
different style of teaching. Siguro may pamalo dati, HAHAHA! Sana nilatigo ko na lang siya,
HAHAHA!!!
Oh well, I’m still happy with
the outcome of the overall evaluation, overwhelmed with the perfect scores,
it’s now over and done, I don’t have to dwell on it and ruin my day, Nainis lang talaga ako.ü Moving
forward.. Not talking to him unless he talks to me first, I usually greet him
1st pa naman, that’s how I respect
him. HAY!
By the way, may picture ako ng CR sa RCG that I want to post, ‘di siya related sa blog na’to, haha! Naweirduhan lang ako…ü
