Our Lips Giving Glory to God
Quote by Epictetus, "We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak."
How easy it is to sin against God with our mouth when we are in pain or in trouble. Troubles, pains and sorrows will follow us in our daily life, but we will face it with prayer and communion with God, ask God for mercy, grace and deliverance with faith and believing in Him.
And that, if we pray, it shows that God is omnipotent, God is benevolent, and God is powerful and willing to help us.
When you look at this Psalm, the Psalmist in one aspect talks about his problems and troubles to the Lord but in the midst of it he also mentioned his praise to the Lord, we could really see the Spiritual condition of the author.
During good times all the more we should praise God. May we be reminded to pray before we speak, that our lips may glorify Him.
